ILLUSTRATIONS
This is just a small selection of some of the illustrations I have done over the years. I feel they best represent my various abilities and styles of illustration; everything from straight-forward portraits for a corporate branding guide, to the more quirky. These are in addition to my work for other projects like Wingwalker Brewing and The 110 Ends Brewery.
ARTWORK | ILLUSTRATION
PUPPY PORTRAITS
This is a set of portraits of various pups that I have illustrated. I was commissioned to create the first two for a Brand Ambassador for Outdoor Products to be eventually placed on her van. The next three were commissioned as a thank you by a coworker for a friend.
CORPORATE BOOK PORTRAITS
These are two of the thirteen portraits created for a Corporate Book. The portraits were for all Officers and Board Members for a company's Corporate Book. The company wanted a more interesting way of showing their upper management. Clean and minimal illustrations was the desired look. This was one the first of this type of illustration work I had been tasked with. I ultimately had to research and work out an entire new set of techniques for myself in order to complete this job. I learned a great deal and I feel like it is some of my best work even now.
DREAM TARTS CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT
The initial idea for DreamTarts was to have a character as a part of the brand. Sort of a mascot that would be a bit quirky to help explain the product and bring a fun angle to the product. Since DreamTarts is a CBD sleep aid, the idea of a sheep was an obvious choice. I played with keeping it simple at first, then moving into a more complex character that played more into the "typical New Yorker" as an ode to the founding members much beloved hometown.
OUTDOOR RETAILER SHOW GRAPHICS
These are graphics that were placed on the van of the Brand Ambassador for Outdoor Products. Royce lives the van life and we wanted a creative way to bring the places she has visited in her travels to the show. I went with the overall idea of an old school postcard vibe; heavy in type effects to make it more dynamic for each location.
